Meet Industry Expert Joel Pickering
We are honored to have industry expert Joel Pickering at our booth. With over 35 years of experience in construction management and fire prevention, Joel has overseen numerous safety and fire prevention projects across America. He served as Senior Vice President, managing fire prevention in the New York City market, and has a distinguished career in his local fire department, retiring as Deputy Chief after 32 years of service.
Joel’s extensive background includes representing himself on the NFPA 241 Committee and his previous employer on the ANSI A-10 Committee, where he chaired the A-1026 Subcommittee for Emergency Procedures on Construction and Demolition Sites. Additionally, Joel served in the US Navy Reserves, retiring as a Captain after a 30-year career.
