As fire risks continue to remain a major challenge across the marine industry, the need for flexible and reliable temporary fire protection has never been greater. According to Allianz Commercial, 250 fire incidents were recorded across the shipping industry in 2024, the highest total in a decade. Shipbuilding and repair environments can present particularly complex risks due to hot works, temporary power, changing layouts and incomplete or offline permanent fire systems during construction and refit phases.
